Bouquet Dill

The Dill Bouquet, `Anethum graveolens,' will produce early large seed heads that make this plant an excellent choice for pickling. This is the most widely grown dill throughout the world. The foliage of this plant is also great for sprinkling on new potatoes, tomatoes, grilled salmon, green beans, spinach, squash, cucumbers and lamb chops. The plants are up to three feet tall and very aromatic. Successive plantings every two to three weeks in the spring will assure a continual supply of fresh foliage. Like all dills, the Bouquet prefers fertile, well drained soil that is high in organic matter.
