The Ligularia Brit Marie Crawford, `Ligularia dentata,' produces wonderful yellow orange, daisy-like flowers. The huge glossy maroon foliage will remain dark for most of the season. The foliage ranges from round to kidney shaped to triangular and has a wavy margin. The flowers grow on tall spikes and will bloom from July through August. The plants will grow to three to four feet in height with a spread of three to four feet. This plant will work best in mass plantings, woodland gardens, or along streams and ponds.
