Burgunder Gaillardia


The Gaillardia Burgunder, `Gaillardia x grandiflora,' has wonderful blooms that are waxy and red-maroon in color with slight pale yellow centers. Their foliage is a gray green, resembling basil. These plants bloom from early June through autumn, and have a plant height of nearly three feet with a width of twelve to eighteen inches. They prefer sunny locations in dry or windy sites, and can also be grown well in containers. Their blooms also produce long lasting cut flowers.
