Burgundy Wine Knautia


The Knautia Burgundy Wine, `Knautia macedonica,' produces several brilliant burgundy to crimson red flowers on long stems. The medium tall plants can be grown in the front or middle of a bed, and entice the viewer without completely obscuring plants behind it. This `see through' plant will add a sense of drama and mystery to any garden. The seeds should be planted in the early spring, about two to four weeks before the last average frost date.
