Seeds: Special Use Seed Mixtures

Butterfly Mix

This is a wonderful blend of 16 or more easy to grow wildflowers that are magnets for butterflies and hummingbirds. The mixture has both annuals and perennials, and the flowers will begin to bloom only three to four weeks after sprouting, and will return year after year to give a magnificent display of color. The seeds should be planted in the spring or early summer, or in late fall after the first frost for a spring bloom. In warm-winter regions, the seeds must be planted at the beginning of the rainy season. When planted in any bright, sunny location, butterflies and hummingbirds will flock to the flowers once they bloom.
