Chaters Mix Hollyhock


The Hollyhock Chater's Mix, `Alcea rosea,' produces a wide array of flower colors including pink, red and yellow. Hollyhock plants are rather tall, to five feet, and typically biennial in nature. Even though these plants are short lived, they will easily reseed themselves. The large ruffled flowers of Chater's Mix will bloom throughout the summer months. This is an excellent plant near the back of a border, and works great along fences or walls. They grow best in full sunlight in a well-drained area.
