Asteriscus Compact Gold Coin produces yellow flowers resembling daisies that do not close at night. This Asteriscus, `Asteriscus maritimus,' has attractive, shiny foliage that is emerald green in color. This somewhat drought tolerant plant is often used in rock gardens, containers or mass plantings. Flowering continuously from April through August, the Gold Coin is easy to grow and care for.
