Doublefile Viburnum


The Doublefile Viburnum, `Viburnum tomentosum,' provides interest to a garden for three seasons of the year. In the spring, it produces large, lacy white flowers. Late summer brings about the scarlet berries that are a favorite snack of many songbirds. During the autumn, it has a beautiful maroon-purple fall color. Easy to grow in the sun or shade, this Viburnum has a strong horizontal growth habit. Growing to four or five feet in height, it may be pruned to any desired size.
