The Dwarf Ninebark, `Physocarpus opulifolius,' produces white flowers during the spring, and has peeling bark that gives it a great amount of winter interest. This is a small shrub that can be used as a small hedge plant, foundation plant or added to rock gardens. This dense, bushy plant will follow its flowers with quite ornamental, red seedpods.
