Fancy Knickers Dianthus

The Dianthus Fancy Knickers, `Dianthus hybrid,' has elegant white flowers with just a touch of red in the center. It features grassy, blue gray foliage and an extended blooming time, lasting from mid summer into early fall. They have a height of six inches with a spread of six to eight inches. This is a plant not to miss. To extend the bloom time, flowers should be deadheaded continuously throughout the summer months. The blooms are fragrant, and make excellent border plants, additions to rock gardens, or edging along a path.
