Flax Blue


The Flax Blue Lewisii, `Linum perenne,' produces clusters of sky-blue flowers that will last from six to twelve weeks. The flowers are up to one inch in size, and grow on airy, delicate, gracefully arching branches. Individual flowers will only last for one day, but will be continually replaced by new ones. This is a drought resistant, sun loving and graceful plant. The seeds should be planted in the early spring, after the last average frost date or as late as two months before the first fall frost. This Flax looks great when massed or planted in rock gardens.
