The Hosta Francis Williams, `Hosta sieboldiana,' has heart shaped leaves, blue green in color that feature wide yellow margins. This plant produces white flowers, which bloom from July into August. Hostas are not grown only for their flowers. Most people grow Hostas to provide color and life in shady areas of the garden that other plants will not necessarily thrive in. This is one of the largest Hostas, with a height of nearly three feet and a spread of four to five feet.
