Greek Oregano

The Oregano Greek, `Origanum heracloeticum,' is the true, culinary oregano that is not often found in seed form. This herb, prized by Italian chefs, will help to jazz up any number of foods. The plants are two feet wide by two feet tall, and produce small white flowers. This is considered the best variety of oregano for cooking, as well as the hardiest oregano plant. This plant should be sheared severely at least twice a year to encourage fullness and new tender growth.
