Italian Sprouting Broccoli


The Broccoli Italian Sprouting Di Cicco, `Brussica rapa,' is a European Heirloom variety. This is a very tasty broccoli that produces lots of small to medium heads with a long harvest period. The plants are very productive, and should be harvested when the heads are three inches in diameter. Successively sowing seeds every two weeks throughout the cool early growing season will allow for continuous harvest. Broccoli prefers a light, loamy, well draining soil.
