Jet Star Tomato

The Tomato Jet Star, `Lycopersicon lycopersicum,' bears delicious, mild flavored fruits. The tomatoes mature early with tremendous yields. The fruits will have few scars or cracks. This early variety is a compact grower, and provides good flavor with low acidity. Support is recommended, but not required for the indeterminate vines. The soil should be well drained and high in organic matter. In warmer regions, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for a harvest in the winter. When watering, the soil should be soaked to a depth of six to ten inches. The plants require at least six hours of direct sunlight every day.
