The Daylily Little Grapette, `Hemerocallis Little Grapette,' produces very fragrant and lightly ruffled flowers with purple petals and a small yellow throat. The flowers can reach two inches in width. The plants have dark green foliage and will reach a height of one foot with a spread of two to three feet. The flowers will unfortunately last for only one day each, but there are many flowers that will bloom throughout the season. The spent flower heads should be removed in the fall to encourage a healthier plant. This lovely edging plant is considered to be pest and deer resistant.
