Mardi Gras Helen's Flower


The Helenium Mardi Gras, `Helenium,' is a Blooms of Bressingham plant. Also called Sneezeweed or Helen's Flower, this is a very showy, multicolored perennial. The two inch flowers are somewhat `tie-dyed,' with orange, red and yellow colors. The flowers will bloom above the green foliage from late June into early August. The plants will reach a height of two feet with a spread of twenty-five inches. Heleniums should be planted in the back of a border or in a mass planting with shrubs and ornamental grasses.
