Perennials: Hibiscus

Old Yella Hibiscus

The Hibiscus Old Yella is the first yellow colored Hibiscus in its species. The large, pale yellow flowers can reach a size of twelve inches on a plant that is four to five feet tall. The leaves are green in color, and ovate to slightly cut. Holding the flowers of an Old Yella plant next to white will allow the luminescence of the yellow coloring to be seen. This plant should be planted in a location of full sunlight, but it will tolerate most types of soil. This plant looks wonderful with grasses, or as a background plant.
