Othello Leopard Plant


The Ligularia Othello Leopard Plant, `Ligularia dentate,' is a great yellow-orange, daisy-like flower that features huge leathery, heart shaped basal leaves. The new foliage emerges purplish red, but turns to a brownish green. The flowers will bloom from July to August, and the plants can reach two feet in height with a spread of up to three feet. The soil must be consistently moist. These plants work best in group or mass plantings, but also can be grown along streams, ponds, pools or bog gardens.
