The Grass Perennial Quaking Grass, `Briza media,' is the most common perennial Quaking Grass on the market. It flowers rise more than one foot over the slender foliage, and sway gently in the breeze. An outstanding all-purpose grass, Briza works nicely as a specimen, massed, in borders or as a groundcover. This clumping deciduous grass features tall inflorescences and bead like seed-heads from late spring into summer. This plant is very hardy, tolerant of most soils and fairly drought tolerant once established. It is also non-invasive.
