Pimiento Sweet Pepper

The Pepper Sweet Pimiento, `Capsicum annuum,' is simply perfect for stuffing or pickling, as well as sliced fresh in salads. The scarlet colored peppers feature a very mild flavor and are sweet, juicy and aromatic. The familiar red plug found in green olives is made from this pepper. Pimiento peppers are excellent for pickling, and their delightful crunch and wonderful color will add texture and flavor to fresh salads. Peppers require a lot of water to grow, but should be watered deeply as opposed to often. To increase fruit size, pinch off about half of the flowers.
