The Grass Toffee Twist Sedge, `Carex flagellifera Toffee Twist,' is a mounded variety of ornamental grass. Its iridescent slender mahogany leaves arch upwards about two feet before spilling back to the ground. This is a distinctive plant for an accent of mass, and grows well in rock gardens and along steep slopes. During the fall and winter months, these plants will take on an attractive coral color.
