Perennials: Peony

White Peony

The White Peony, `Paeonia lactiflora,' is an unnamed variety of Peony. There are many different Peonies on the market today, but we have simply chosen to carry only unnamed varieties. Peonies make some of the best cut flowers, and are often used to decorate gravesites on Memorial Day. All the Peonies that we carry are adaptable to most soils throughout the country. Peonies are among the longest lived perennials and are often divided by their owners to share with friends and neighbors.
