The Korean Wintergreen Boxwood shrub, `Microphylla koreana,' is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with an upright habit and medium to dark green foliage. Also known as the littleleaf boxwood, this is a formal or tightly informal shrub that is usually reserved for shady conditions.
